In honor of Pride Month, the members of Commander Sealed feel that it is important to be as supportive as possible to our friends in the LBGTQIA2+ Community. We also feel it is important to not only help those who are in need of mental or physical help, but to also support them with memories and enjoyment. With that in mind, we are bringing back our annual gift to our friends, the Pegasus Pride Award!
This award grants an attendee with a free entry to Commander Sealed, including a ticket to the main event where they will get to open packs, make new friends, and play in our big event alongside over 250 other players. It also includes the option to play a Commander game live on our stream with 3 of our content creators on Friday afternoon.

This year, we are doing something special with the entry to our award – building Commander decks! In the spirit of Pride Month, we are asking anyone who wishes to enter to create a Commander deck using the Pride Partner rules where you can use any two legendary commanders as though they have the Partner mechanic. Your goal is to build a flavorful Bracket 1 or 2 deck on Moxfield.com and include the hashtag #CS2026 in your title. We also encourage you to use the description section on Moxfield to tell us about why your deck is awesome, what makes it a pride deck, why we should select you, and any ways that you identify with the LGBTQ+ Community (of course, if you feel safe saying it out loud, no judgment if you don’t feel safe). Three members of our team of Content Creators will be judging the decks based on their own criteria; Blue Collar Commander, Magic Mama MTG, and Shucken Not Stirred. So make sure to include flavor, art, and synergies, but also make it a coherent and solid deck that can get some wins!

Are you having difficulty trying to figure out HOW to make your deck a Pride Partner deck? When you make a new deck, add one commander, then you will want to click on the “Change” link next to your commander. Uncheck the box that says “Search Only Legal Cards” and you can then add a partner in the second slot.

Submissions will close on June 30th. We will search for all the decks with the #CS2026 tag for review at that time, so start tinkering now and keep working on it until the end of the month. There’s no better time to build a deck than right now! Good luck and keep supporting Trans Rights and LGBTQ+ Lives
