Sept 13-15, RIT Inn and Conference Center

Just Games and Commander Sealed are proud to present the D&D Epic “Drums of the Dead” from 10 am to 2 pm on Sept 14 and 15 at the RIT Inn and Conference Center. From 6 – 10 pm on Friday Sept 13 we will also be hosting a Player’s Handbook Celebration and welcome event.

D&D Epics are exciting multi-table events where participants cooperate in a “mass raid” of truly EPIC proportions; as every table works toward the same goal, individual tables act as squads that might take on different tasks, possibly affecting other tables or unlocking side quests needed to progress the event.

Drums of the Dead

A ritual to destroy Chult’s undead has backfired and unleashed an undead plague! The components needed to concoct an antidote have been identified, but need to be scavenged from the jungle. Meanwhile, Valindra Shadowmantle and Szass Tam are rallying the infected to conduct a massive assault on Port Nyanzaru. If they succeed, the results will be catastrophic.

Players will play as either high-level or low-level PCs (you may bring an Adventurer’s League character, or else grab an appropriate pre-generated character from our supplies) and join either table on Saturday. On Sunday, we will run the session back, with players getting a chance to swap to the level they didn’t play the day before. For the unfamiliar, this Epic runs as two completely separate adventures, with the high levels attempting to hold off the undead army and epic-level NPCs, while the low levels scramble against a timer to find reagents and concoct an antidote. The halves play totally differently, so each day is a new experience.

Special Charity Mechanics

Your DM will sign up to support either Trevor Project or Trans Lifeline. At your table there will be a QR Code to donate to that charity – for each $1 you donate, you get to reroll ANY die during the adventure. So you’ll be raising money for a great cause, and helping defeat the forces of evil!
